Microsoft finally unveiled its tablet line up tagged ‘Surface Tablets ’at a
secret location in Los Angeles, to compete with its rival – Apple. The tablets
have been introduced in two models, one with Intel-based processor that will
run the full version of Windows 8 including the Windows 7 portion, and the
other with an ARM-based processor that will run Windows RT - the Metro-only
version of Windows 8.

CoreControl App for HTC One X

Recently
XDA-Developers have developed an
app similar to SetCPU app (that is used to control android device CPU) for the
quad-core HTC One X. This app dubbed CoreControl is created by Meltus- one of
the key developers of XDA-Developers Team.
The app lets you to control the number of active cores at a
time in HTC One X and hence provide the battery life of the phone you desire.

VIA discloses ultra-compact, fan-less PC

VIA
Technologies Inc. has recently disclosed a new PC which is ultra-compact in
design focusing to become part of in-vehicle control, digital signage, and
kiosk markets. The PC is tagged as AMOS-3002 and it is equipped with 1GHz Eden
X2 dual core processor along with the VX900H media system processor which

Samsung introduces world's thinnest optical drive
Samsung
has recently publicized a new external optical drive claiming as the world’s
