Apple’s
iPad3, which was released this year has been in news since day one of its
release. Every now and then, there is a new layer that surfaces concerning its resolution
size, ultra slimness, or the freshly forged report by Mike Daisey about the
hazardous conditions suffered by the employees at the Foxconn factory in China.
This
contrived news was first uncovered by Rob Schmitz, the Bureau Chief of
Marketplace Shanghai, who personally experienced the manufacturing process of
the world’s most popular tablet from the construction & assembly of the
motherboard to the installation of the touch screen by visiting the factory. He even went through the
phase where each and every unit's gyroscope is tested individually. He filmed
out all the processes from manufacturing to individual unit testing and
interestingly the laborers which line up on daily basis ready to work for just
14$ per day.
The
tour of Schmitz nullified Daisey’s false report which I guess was brought into
the scene to diminish the popularity of world’s most popular tablet maker!
